Express IVF Supplement Review
Get clarity on your supplements in one session, with a protocol tailored to your IVF stage, bloodwork, and fertility history.
If you’ve been told to take a “fertility booster” but you’re not sure what’s inside it, whether it’s evidence-based, or whether you’re taking it correctly, you’re not alone.
And if your supplement routine is a mix of clinic advice, friends, Reddit, and Google, it’s easy to end up with a stack that feels expensive, confusing, and hard to follow.
This review helps you stop guessing and feel confident that your plan is safe, targeted, and aligned to your next IVF step.
If you're thinking any of these, this is for you
- “Am I taking too much or missing something important?”
- “Do these supplements actually match my blood tests?”
- “What matters most right now for my stage: egg collection, embryo development, or transfer?”
- “Is anything I’m taking pointless, duplicated, or interfering with absorption?”
What you get
This isn’t a generic supplement chat. It’s a structured clinical review focused on optimising IVF outcomes. You’ll walk away with:
1) A clear “stop, start, adjust” plan
So you know what to stop (low-value extras, wrong forms), what to start (evidence-based and case-specific), and what to adjust (dose, timing, interactions
2) An IVF stage-based supplement protocol
A personalised protocol aligned to your IVF stage, including egg collection prep, embryo transfer, and implantation support.
3) A blood test gap check plus a schedule you can follow
You’ll know what’s worth testing next (only if relevant), and receive a simplified supplement schedule designed for maximum absorption (including what to separate from iron, thyroid medication, coffee, calcium, and more).
Optional add-on: Partner supplement plan to optimise sperm health and quality (if relevant to your case).
How It Works
Step 1: The review session
In your consultation, we review:
- Your full supplement list, including clinic-prescribed and practitioner range products
- Recent blood tests and potential gaps
- A focused IVF, nutrition, and health intake to understand your timeline
- Supplement duplication, interactions, and quality
- What’s evidence-based versus what’s noise
- What to stop, start, adjust, and prioritise right now
Step 2: Your personalised protocol
After the session, you receive a written protocol outlining:
- What to take
- How much to take
- When to take it for best absorption
- How long to take it for, based on your IVF stage
- What to retest (only if relevant)
You’ll leave the session feeling
- Confident your supplement plan is safe, targeted, and not overdone
- Clear on what supports IVF outcomes versus what’s unnecessary
- Reassured you’re not missing a key step before your next stage

Frequently Asked Questions
Catherine is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) accredited by Dietitians Australia and holds certification in Fertility and Prenatal Nutrition through the Early Life Nutrition Alliance.
This means you’re not seeing a generalist. You’re working with a dietitian who has additional, specialised training in how nutrition and targeted supplementation can support fertility, IVF preparation, pregnancy outcomes, and maternal health.
It’s an extra layer of expertise beyond standard dietetic qualifications, with a strong focus on evidence-based care for women trying to conceive and throughout pregnancy.
Our sessions are usually approximately 45 – 60 minutes long.
No. As much as we would like to, no ethical health professional can guarantee specific outcomes, such as improved egg quality, embryo development, implantation, or pregnancy.
Fertility and IVF success are influenced by many factors, including age, diagnosis, egg and sperm quality, uterine factors, genetics, and how your body responds to stimulation. Even IVF cannot guarantee a pregnancy.
What we can guarantee is this. You’ll receive a personalised, evidence-based plan and high-touch support that targets the factors we can influence, so you feel clear, confident, and supported as you move into your next IVF step.
Not necessarily. We prefer to review any recent blood tests and results you already have first, along with your IVF history and current timeline, before recommending anything new.
If additional testing would be helpful, we’ll explain exactly what we suggest and why, so you’re not doing unnecessary tests.
If you’re unsure what to organise, book an IVF Rescue Call, and we’ll clarify the best next step for you.
Home advanced nutrition testing kits are included only when you enrol in the Mastering Egg Health Program.
For other services, testing is not automatically included, but may be recommended as an optional add-on after discussion with Catherine, if it’s appropriate for your goals, results, and IVF timeline.
This may include targeted testing such as:
- Omega-3 index
- Glutathione
- CoQ10
- Homocysteine
- NAD+
- Vaginal microbiome testing
Our fee reflects specialist, high-touch IVF support rather than a general nutrition consult.
Each client receives a personalised strategy aligned with their IVF timeline, a detailed pre-session review, targeted recommendations based on bloods and history, supplement safety and dosing guidance, and practical tools such as meal plans and checklists.
We also limit the number of clients we accept each month to protect the quality of care and responsiveness.
Yes, we’re an accredited provider of most private health funds in Australia. The amount you can claim as a rebate will depend on your specific policy’s coverage under the Extras.
After each consultation, we will provide you with a receipt, which you can submit to your health fund for reimbursement.
The item number for an initial dietetic consultation is 500, and for follow-up consultations, it’s 600. We advise you to contact your private health fund provider before your session to understand the specifics of your coverage.
If you’re eligible for the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, you can access up to five rebates for dietitian consultations through Medicare within a calendar year. To determine your eligibility and obtain the necessary referral letter, please consult with your GP prior to your session. This option is available for valid Medicare cardholders. After each consultation, we will provide you with a receipt which you can submit to Medicare online for reimbursement. The item number is 93000.
You don’t need a referral letter. However, if you want to access dietitian rebates from Medicare, you need to have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan and a referral letter from your GP.
