Catherine Chong is an accredited practising dietitian with Dietitians Australia and a certified dietitian in fertility and prenatal nutrition by the Early Life Nutrition Alliance. As a certified fertility and prenatal dietitian, she has specialised expertise in nutrition and dietetics, particularly concerning fertility and prenatal care. This specialisation requires additional training and certification beyond the standard qualifications for a dietitian. It involves an in-depth focus on how nutrition affects fertility, pregnancy, and the health of the mother and the developing fetus, ensuring a comprehensive approach to maternal health.

  • An in-depth 90-minute consultation with a comprehensive analysis of your dietary habits, your blood tests, and a review of your overall health, lifestyle, and fertility history.
  • Receive up-to-date, evidence-based dietary guidance tailored to your unique needs and fertility goals.
  • Clear, practical steps in nutrition to help bring you closer to your dream of motherhood.
  • Enjoy a bespoke two-week meal plan with fertility-boosting recipes and a tailored grocery shopping list to enhance your fertility journey.
  • A supplement regimen meticulously crafted to suit your unique body needs.
  • Receive a free omega-3 testing kit. Understanding your fatty acid profile is crucial as it plays a significant role in improving fertility health.

Our initial consultation is primarily focused on the individual. However, we highly encourage your partner to participate in the consultation to gain insights into the vital dietary and lifestyle changes that can enhance fertility for both of you.

If you choose to enrol in our Mastering Egg Health Program following your initial consultation, it includes an initial assessment and a tailored plan for your partner at no extra cost. This ensures that both of you are supported and informed throughout this journey.

The initial consultation is usually 90 minutes. A subsequent follow-up visit will take around 45 – 60 minutes.

The fee for an individual initial consultation is $550.

Each follow-up consultation is priced at $350 per session. These sessions are crucial for providing individually tailored reviews and nutrition strategies designed to educate and support you in making sustainable improvements to your dietary habits.

Our consultation fees reflect the specialised nature of our services in fertility and prenatal nutrition. This specialised field demands a unique set of skills and a deep level of knowledge, which directly influences the quality, customisation, and effectiveness of the care we offer.

Catherine Chong, our certified and award-winning fertility dietitian, brings over 15 years of specialized experience. Her expertise in fertility nutrition is distinct and highly specialised compared to general dietetic services. When you choose our consultations, you’re investing in a superior level of expertise. This includes dedicated time spent with clients during consultations, meticulously drafting each customised nutrition plan, and providing unlimited support following consultations.

This comprehensive approach ensures that you receive the most effective, personalised support throughout your fertility journey, making our services a valuable investment in your health and future.

After your initial consultation, you’ll have a couple of options for your next steps:

  1. Enrol in the Mastering Egg Health Program: This 12-week follow-up package is the most popular choice for many clients. By choosing this program, you’ll gain access to our comprehensive online learning portal, which includes a variety of resources to optimise your egg and sperm health and six follow-up consultations with Dietitian Catherine Chong. These resources include personalised meal plans, fertility-friendly recipes, expert-led masterclasses, and unlimited support throughout the 12 weeks. We recommend scheduling follow-up sessions every two weeks to help reinforce and refine the strategies and skills you’ve learned, with a dedicated focus on maximising your fertility potential. Click here to learn more about the program.
  2. Opt for Single Follow-up Consultations: Alternatively, if you prefer more flexibility, you can book individual follow-up consultations as needed. This option allows you to address specific concerns or questions following the initial consultation.

Both options are crafted to provide ongoing support, guidance, and expert knowledge on your path to enhanced fertility.

This 12-Week Program Offers:

  1. Six individual consultations with Dietitian Catherine Chong via Zoom. These sessions focus on creating a personalised nutrition and supplement plan tailored to your unique needs and goals, including an initial fertility consultation with your partner to discuss sperm health.
  2. Access our online training portal to discover our science-backed 4-step system to enhance egg and sperm health. Enjoy masterclasses by fertility health experts that provide comprehensive knowledge and strategies.
  3. Personalised meal plans, recipes, and detailed shopping lists to simplify meal preparation and ensure optimal nourishment. Access to our dietitian-approved online meal planner offers flexibility to swap meals as needed.
  4. Individually tailored supplement regimen to support egg health and male fertility. Access to practitioner-only supplements range.
  5. Utilise our downloadable nutrition guides and worksheets, designed to support you from conception to the first trimester of your pregnancy.
  6. Stay motivated and on track with instant messaging support for accountability and guidance between your consultations.

The one-time investment in our 12-week Mastering Egg Health Program is $1,500. It’s important to note that an initial consultation, priced at $550, is required before enrolling in the program. This ensures we can provide personalised and effective care tailored to your needs.

Absolutely! We offer a payment plan for our program. Contact our team to find out more.

Every client is unique, and while we strive to provide the best possible support, we cannot guarantee a successful pregnancy. Factors such as age, underlying health conditions, and individual circumstances can all influence fertility. Even IVF cannot guarantee success. Our goal is to equip you with the nutrition knowledge, tools, and support to optimise your fertility, giving you the best possible chance of achieving a successful pregnancy.

Here are some encouraging evidence on dietary intervention alone:

1. Mediterranean Diet and Infertility: A Systematic Review with Meta-Analysis of Cohort Studies (2023)

    • This review analysed 11 studies involving 13,157 women and 1,338 men. It found that greater adherence to the Mediterranean diet was associated with improved sperm concentration and count, suggesting a possibility of better pregnancy outcomes.

2. The Effect of Dietary Patterns on Clinical Pregnancy and Live Birth Outcomes in Men and Women Receiving Assisted Reproductive Technologies: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (2022)

  • This review synthesised research on the impact of dietary patterns, including the Mediterranean diet, on pregnancy and live birth outcomes in individuals undergoing ART. It found that adherence to the Mediterranean diet was positively associated with live birth rates.

3. Assessing the Influence of Preconception Diet on Female Fertility: A Systematic Scoping Review of Observational Studies (2023)

  • This review highlighted that adherence to a Mediterranean diet and reducing trans fatty acids, saturated fatty acids, and discretionary food intake may improve fertility in preconception women.

While we do our best to tailor each recipe to suit your nutritional needs and food preferences, we recognise that it’s impossible to meet every client’s expectations perfectly. That’s why we offer access to our online meal planner, allowing you to choose and plan your meals according to your preferences and needs. This way, you can enjoy a personalised meal plan that works best for you.

We take great pride in the quality of our Mastering Egg Health Program and are pleased to share that we have had a high level of satisfaction among our clients, with no refund requests to date. However, we understand that every individual’s situation is unique. If you find that the program does not meet your needs, we offer a 14-day refund policy starting from the date of your enrollment. For detailed information about our refund policy, we encourage you to review our terms and conditions.

Yes, we’re an accredited provider of most private health funds in Australia. The amount you can claim as a rebate will depend on your specific policy’s coverage under the Extras. After each consultation, we will provide you with a receipt, which you can submit to your health fund for reimbursement. The item number for an initial dietetic consultation is 500, and for follow-up consultations, it’s 600. We advise you to contact your private health fund provider before your session to understand the specifics of your coverage.

If you’re eligible for the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, you can access up to five rebates for dietitian consultations through Medicare within a calendar year. To determine your eligibility and obtain the necessary referral letter, please consult with your GP prior to your session. This option is available for valid Medicare cardholders. After each consultation, we will provide you with a receipt which you can submit to Medicare online for reimbursement.

You don’t need a referral letter. However, if you want to access dietitian rebates from Medicare, you need to have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan and a referral letter from your GP.
